Spring Cleaning. Done.

I am truly shocked.  I am completely disgusted.  My house is was dusty, dirty, filthy, messy, and disgusting.

When I woke up this morning, there was precious little to report in the way of food.

Both of those conditions are now remedied.

I went to the grocery store and stayed until I was done.  That one girl is a lot of help.

Both bathrooms are clean(not regular clean, comet and brush and garden hose clean).  I will sleep on clean sheets, while a clean fan sets the mood(I can sleep without a fan anytime I want to.  I just don’t want to.).  The next load of laundry will go into a clean machine(I did spill quite an impressive amount of all fabric bleach and clean up my mess).  I can see the floor in my room(the cheapest carpet on the deepest pad– light gray).  I vacuumed(inside window sills) and the donation bag is waiting at the top of the stairs.  I got rid of a ton of empty or nearly empty bottles, cans, and tubes.

I. Dusted.

I didn’t mop.  There’s no need to get silly.

We grilled out.

The Oklahoma State football team is beating the snot out of some poor little school whose team probably carpooled to the game.

It’s been a pretty auspicious start to an unassuming little month, like September.  I guess that’s why they call it “Labor Day”.  My parents used to say that when I was a kid.  I thought they were just trying to be funny.

I love it when you sass me. Please leave a comment.
